Sunday 9th July

47 miles to Glasgow and it is 95 degrees.

Cycling through country which once belonged to the buffalo and I can imagine them roaming on these plains. Now there are ranches with some cattle.
The railway and Route 2 continue together. I passed over the Milk River again today- have been over a couple of hills so I guess it took a different course yesterday. The small towns along the way developed with the railway. They are all in my imagination a version of Muir of Ord without the whisky distillery. Glasgow is larger and has car and tractor dealerships.
Am camped in an RV park close to Denise, Coby and Tom's trailer. (no shade so been in the adjacent motel swimming pool and have settled in their lounge - nobody has asked me to leave yet) They only made it to Saco yeasterday so they have to be driven back to do the section they missed this evening. I keep forgetting that Coby is only 14 he is doing amazingly well, but Denise has trouble getting him out of bed for early starts. Like me she finds it difficult to cycle after 12 midday with the heat.
Tomorrow I go through Wolf Creek I keep getting bad reports about this town. Apparently it is on an Indian Reservation
Quote  "Don't camp in the park they will kill you"
I plan to leave very early to get through to the next place but it will be a long day!
Anyway, I  have Denise and Coby's support crew number, so could always call if it gets too much! They are very kind people.
