Over Logan Pass
36 miles to St Marys hiker/biker site.
Olivia and I were up early and away by 6am She led with the bear spray and I followed in the high viz jacket. Cars gave us room and the views are amazing. Sad to think that due to global warming by 2030 there will be no glaciers left. We reached the top at 6,664 feet and crossed the continental divide. Still snow around.. We spoke to other cyclists who had come from the other direction.
Owen appeared- he had stayed in the camp site at Apgar
Then it was down to St Mary's on the East side, to the hiker biker site, another Huckelberry ice cream and a look around the visitor cente. The area was designated a national park in 1910. A great area- lots of walking trails it would be good to explore.
