Sunday 11th June 53miles

Ashford to Yelm 53 miles

After our very large Pizza meal last night, we managed to camp about half a mile down the road in the grounds of a very delapidated motel. We were informed, however that they did a very good breakfast. I liked seeing Keith order oatmeal plus a stack of blueberry pancakes, and try to eat them all. Then it was back through Elbe with the old steam trains and the expensive caboose/motel to rent (above our price scale). This time we looked around and read the plaques (rather than eating huckleberry ice creams like the day before)
The area was populated by German Lutheran immigrants, The bishop performs a service once a year in the original  small clap board church. He arrives by bicycle.
Then we have cycled as far as Yelm.

Staying in a Hotel tonight after our big event of the day-shopping at a Walmart!
